The
food at the Apple Festival is homemade and delicious. From 7
a.m. till 1 p.m., a kitchen full of volunteers, most of
them from the Hickory Lions and Lioness Clubs, serve a delicious
hearty breakfast pancakes, eggs, sausages, juice, and
coffee at the fire hall. From 10 a.m. till 6 p.m., booths
offer lots of tasty options. Sample the chicken cooked over
an open fire or homemade bean soup with fresh bread baked in
a brick oven, or try the festival favorites below:
