The Mt. Pleasant Township Volunteer Fire Company is located approximately 25 miles southwest of Pittsburgh in Washington County. Our firefighters travel 88 miles of road to serve 3,422 residents and a number of businesses in 35.6 square miles of villages and farmland, and aid neighboring fire companies when needed.

The Fire Company thrives because of the hard work of its members, including the Ladies' Auxiliary, and the generous support of people, businesses, and organizations from the township and nearby communities.

The station in Hickory serves as an active center of year-round community activities and is the Home of the Apple Festival.
